Opening and Soundtrack

I thought of the PERFECT opening to movie today. Not only do I have it in my head, I know the perfect song to go with it as well. It flows perfectly into my opening scene without having any lag time. It will be a real-time intro, no animation at all. I've never been a fan of long intros, but it might be necessary in this situation. I almost want to post the opening here, but I am going to hold back.

As for the soundtrack, it's looking decent right now. I have a couple songs that I'm still debating whether or not I will keep them in. Some featured artists: Tyrone Wells, Young Love, and Dashboard Confessional. Those artists/songs are set in stone. Everything else can be removed if I find something better.

If I don't get another post in, Happy Easter!

Log Jam

School has been brutal this week. However, I will be going home this weekend (and meeting up with my idea partner).

Hopefully I will find some time to make some more progress with the script. I polished off one scene and in my opinion, it does a fantastic job of developing Austin and introducing his behavior to the audience.

Stay tuned...

And so it begins...

Hello blogging world. I'm not sure if people will actually come across this blog on their travels, but it's here anyway.

I'm not going to give out too much information yet, mainly because there isn't much information to give.

Genre: As of now it's sort of a drama, with a little comedy thrown in, and a little romance. The absolute genre will take form as I continue to write the script and determine which course of action is best for the script.

The main character's name is Austin.

That's all the "info" I am going to be releasing at this time.

The script is still in its beginning stages. I'm also still brainstorming ideas, but the best of ones have started to be written into an actual script.
